In Lesson Two We’ll Learn:

  • Meditation is not about reaching a state of enlightenment. It is about learning to sit comfortably with uncomfortable feelings and situations
  • Calm and relaxation are nice by-products of a meditation practice.
  • Practice being aware of what is happening around you as you sit in meditation – sounds, smells, touch – without trying to judge or figure out what they are. Simply be aware of them.
