These sneakers have cred

Having designed sneakers for most of his career, Rollie founder Vince Lebon, couldn’t understand why there wasn’t an Australian sneaker brand that stood up on the world stage. Determined to change this, he relocated his family to New York to further hone his skills from the best in the business. He even won the Project Runway of sneaker design: Lace-Up: The Ultimate Sneaker Challenge TV series. Now back home in Australia he’s taken all that experience and knowledge to create our first range of world class Rollie sneakers.

We could throw lots of fancy words at you about how our sneakers are built. While they’re biomechanically designed, employ open and closed cell foam technology and some are even made with advanced strobel construction, really all that matters is they are down-right comfy with superior impact absorption, flex and energy return. OK, so perhaps we threw a couple of fancy words at you, but it’s what makes our sneakers so great.

We’re all pretty sick of having to buy a packet of band-aids whenever we treat ourselves to a new pair of shoes. But our Sneakers are built differently. With a soft premium leather upper and super flexible heel and toe counters you’ll never have to worry about ‘new-shoe’ blisters and you can save your band-aids for other misadventures.

Excellent.

Love the laces. They make them. Would love it if they came with another colour lace as well - perhaps red or orange. Don’t think they did. Your shoes often do. Slightly on the expensive side.

Great looking and comfy, but hard to get on.

Perhaps it's because I usually wear Chelsea boots or Derby's, but though I LOVE these hi-tops, and they are - as one would expect - super comfortable to wear, they are quite bloody hard to get on. I'm talking: loosen all the laces, then loosen them some more, then loosen every.single.one right down to the bottom, again, then curse a bit, then loosen them some more, then finally force one's (narrow) foot in! Maybe they'll soften with wear? If I don't lose my temper first. ;)
