Roman Sandal Sunset Chrome

I have mixed views about these shoes. On the upside, they are beautiful - the colours are vivid and iridescent and always changing with every angle and in different lights, between green, gold, bronze and violet. They are very light, and the foot bed is soft and comfortable. However, on the downside, the straps are very tight. I don't have particularly wide or arched feet, but I had to really stretch the straps to get to the first available hole for the buckle. Given how narrow the straps are, this is a bit uncomfortable. Hopefully they will wear in a bit. Also, the shoes tend to move forward off my feet as I walk, and I have to wear the straps crossed at the back of my feet to minimise this, otherwise my heels end up completely off the soles. Very awkward! They are also quite squeaky with all the crossovers and loops for the straps. And most concerning of all is that some of the straps have already started to tear at the joins with the sole, after only a couple of wears. Luckily, there seems to be an inner cord giving core strength, so I hope this is only a minor issue.
