Care Velvet

Velvet is a delicate fabric that requires careful handling. To clean, use a soft-bristled brush such as the Jason Markk Premium Brush, avoiding stiff brushes as these can damage the fibres. Apply a small amount of Jason Markk Premium Shoe Cleaner with the brush, using minimal water so the brush is barely damp. Brush in one direction, following the natural direction of the fibres for a uniform finish. If cleaning one shoe, always clean both to ensure an even appearance. Blot excess liquid immediately with a clean, dry microfibre cloth and allow to air dry away from direct heat. Do not use waterproofing or protector sprays on velvet as these can ruin the fibres.
